A pair of gilt bronze oil lamps decorated with putti illustrating the seasons, mounted on a fluted and patinated circular base. Four putti each bear the symbol of a season: wheat for summer, vines for autumn, flowers for spring, and a torch for winter. The frosted glass globes are engraved with floral motifs. The original mechanisms are present. They have been electrified. Napoleon III period, circa 1860. Dimensions: W: 18cm, D: 18cm, H: 68cm.
