A pair of large Medici vases in patinated and gilt bronze, finely sculpted with egg-and-dart motifs, acanthus leaves, and delicate floral friezes. Each vase is mounted on a square base decorated with ribboned laurel wreaths and a foliage frieze. The alternating patinated and gilt surfaces create a beautiful effect. Work from the first quarter of the 19th century. Restoration period, circa 1820. Dimensions: W: 20cm, D: 20cm, H: 43.5cm. In very good condition, with minor signs of wear.
