Two bronze sculptures with a brown patina, forming a pair, depicting Fortune, goddess of luck, and Mercury, god of good fortune in Roman mythology. Each deity is represented with their attributes: Fortune holds ears of grain in one hand and a scepter in the other, while Mercury holds a purse. Both are propelled into the air by a baby blower. The bases are adorned with putti symbolizing Painting and Sculpture. Both bronzes are signed "J. de Bologne".
Model after Jean de Bologne (Giambologna), French sculptor born in 1524 and died in Florence in 1608.
