A pair of carved, molded walnut side tables decorated with fruit and plant motifs. The capitals feature palmette friezes. They are in the Henri II style, heavily influenced by the forms of furniture and decoration from the second half of the 16th century. The Henri II style, or Neo-Renaissance style, developed in France from the reign of Louis-Philippe.
The square top shelf, measuring 28 cm x 28 cm, can accommodate large sculptures or decorative objects.
