A large and beautiful pair of wrought iron fire dogs or fireplace mantels, decorated with scrolls and foliage highlighted in gold, with a mask at the bottom. The contrasting colors are particularly striking and emphasize the decorative character. The andirons come with their iron supports for holding logs. Circa 1900.
