Pair of Regency-style sconces in chased and gilded bronze, after a model by André-Charles Boulle (1642-1732). They are fixed to the wall by means of an openwork plate in the middle of which appears a female mask, against a trophy with quiver and torch. Below this mask, the plate is adorned with a bearded mask, from which rise the three arms of light that support the binnacles and bobeches. This rich decoration is completed with palmettes, laurel garlands and oval friezes. 19th century. Our two wall sconces are close to a set of four light plates attributed to André-Charles Boulle, and preserved in the Louvre Museum. Circa: 1850 Dim: W:23cm, D:26cm, H:46cm. Both wall sconces are in very good condition. They can be electrified by us.
