PAIR OF RESTAURATION-PERIOD ORMOLU SCONCES

Elegant pair of wall sconces in finely chased and gilded bronze, typical of the refined taste of the Restoration period. Each sconce features a circular structure decorated on the outside with a frieze of palmettes and on the inside with a floral garland centered on a rose in full bloom. The arms support three lights with finely decorated acanthus leaves. The plate is embellished with large foliage drops, punctuated by flowers in relief. A classic, timeless design, ideal for enhancing any reception room.
