Pair of ochre-colored velvet bergères from the '50s, with gilded metal legs. The bergère is a wide armchair with solid sides that rise to the waist. This type of furniture first appeared in 1725. Our velvet armchairs feature a flowing design with outwardly tapering arms, rounded profiles and slender, arched legs.

Condition report: both armchairs are in very good structural condition, with micro-scratches on the metal and light wear and tear on the velvet. The fabric is original.
