Restoration-period candlesticks in chased and gilded bronze, the shaft decorated with registers of flowers and surmounted by a wreath of fruit. Each antique candlestick rests on a circular base decorated with vases and horns of plenty on an amati background. The slightly domed binnacles are finely chased with circumscribed winged figures and the bobèches are decorated with palmettes. This model, in the style of the Trajan Column in Rome (a column with a long historiated band that can be identified with a huge spiral papyrus scroll), is representative of the Restoration period. Restoration period, Circa: 1820 Dim: W:14cm, D:14cm, H:33cm. In very good condition, with slight light wear.
