A pair of Restauration period chased and gilt bronze candlesticks with a circular base decorated with bacchic friezes on an amatized background. The latter are composed of vine leaves and bunches of grapes, as well as musical instruments that refer to the orgies of Bacchus, god of wine, drunkenness and celebration in Roman mythology. The fluted shaft with a lower part decorated with pampers and waves, ending at the top on a flared spigot decorated with geometric patterns and flowers.
