Pair of candelabras in bronze and gilded and white Marble with three arms of lights in the form of a bouquet of flowers. The shaft in the shape of vase is decorated with two handles ending in acanthus leaves and a garland of vine branches on both sides of vase. The base with a beaded ring rests on a pedestal made of bronze and Marble with a double level of interlacing decoration. It has four feet in bronze. One of the vases is signed on the base Eug. Hazart Paris. Louis XVI style, late 19th century.

Eugène Hazart was a highly regarded Parisian bronzemaker of his time. He was a member of the "Reunion des fabricants de bronze" from 1839 and of the commission on the ownership of models. He made bronzes copying the old style, in the Gothic and Renaissance taste, and was known for his reproductions of 18th century works. In 1884, he appears in the suppliers' book of Pannier Frères, who runs the famous house "A l'Escalier de Cristal", famous throughout the 19th century.
