A pair of Medici vases in midnight-blue porcelain with gilt bronze mounts, decorated with the coat of arms of France under a royal crown. They feature two twisted handles, animated with acanthus leaves. Each vase rests on a pedestal encircled by gold scrolls and an ormolu laurel wreath, above a rectangular, canted base. Apocryphal Sèvres mark under the base. Probably produced by the Samson factory in the 19th century. Very good condition. Late 19th century, Circa: 1890 Dim: W:13cm, D:13cm, H:26cm.
