Pair of decorative ewers in bronze with two patinas in the Renaissance style. The handles are in the form of busts of nude women wearing diadems, emerging from acanthus leaves and ending with a lion's head. The body is decorated with mascarons, cartouches, cut leather motifs and garlands of flowers. The neck is decorated with friezes of oves, acanthus and gadroons. The pedestal features gadroons and acanthus leaves. The whole rests on a square base. This late 19th century work is similar to that of Victor Paillard (1805-1886).
