A pair of decorative ewers in bronze with two patinas in the Renaissance style. The handles are in the form of busts of naked women wearing diadems emerging from acanthus leaves and ending with a lion's head. The body is decorated with mascarons, cartouches, cut-out leather motifs and flowery garlands. The neck is decorated with friezes of oves, acanthus and gadroons. The pedestal has gadroons and acanthus leaves. The whole rests on a square base. This work of the end of the 19th century is close to the works of Victor Paillard (1805-1886).
