Large Paris porcelain ewer from the Empire period, decorated with antique figures and large gilt palmettes on a midnight blue ground. The neck and base are adorned with a frieze of foliate posts and a Greek key pattern. The handle is entirely gilt and rests on a satyr's head. 19th century, circa 1800. Dimensions: L: 16cm, D: 14cm, H: 28cm. In very good condition, with minor losses to the gilding. A barely visible hairline crack under the base.
