A very large and beautiful terracotta sculpture signed Mathurin Moreau (1822-1912) depicting "Spring." The young woman, with her beautiful hair, sits on a rock, shielding herself from prying eyes and the wind with a draped garment that partially reveals her nudity. She holds a bouquet of flowers in her hand. The terracotta is signed at the base of the rock. Attributed to the Veuve Salvator Marchi Editeur factory - Paris. Circa 1900
Condition report: In good condition with chips mainly on the circular base.
