Arco" occasional desk designed in 1963 by Studio BBPR for Olivetti Arredamenti. BBPR was a partnership set up in Milan in 1932 by architects Gianlugi Banfi, Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso, Enrico Peressutti and Ernesto Nathan Rogers. The metal base unscrews and supports a writing surface made of Bakelite, a plastic used in the first half of the 20th century for its insulating and heat-resistant properties. Marked under the top and feet: "OLIVETTI ARREDAMENTI METALLICI". Numbered 62/182. This occasional desk with its vintage style and industrial look is a design classic from the 60's.
We also have a large pedestal desk: find out more here.
