Porcelain covered pot in the Sèvres style, with a celestial blue background and polychrome decoration of birds on branches, in reserves underlined by crosses and foliage painted in gold. The lid has a twisted grip. Gilt bronze mounting, richly decorated with masks, acanthus leaves and foliate scrolls. The handles, which extend to the base, are covered with flowering branches and foliage. The porcelain rests on a base with curved sides and four fluted ball feet. Apocryphal Sèvres mark. XIX° period, Circa: 1850 Dim: W:24cm, D:12cm, H:21cm. The porcelain is in very good condition, with a firing crack inside the sugar bowl. A small original flaw on the bronze base.
