A pair of Regency-style candlesticks with canted corners that repeat from the base to the socket. The candlesticks are richly decorated with stylized leaves, arabesques, antique vases, and masks. Profile portraits of figures adorn the stems, in the style of cameos. A beautiful alternation of matte chased and polished smooth sections. 19th century, circa 1850. Dimensions: W: 12.5cm, D: 12.5cm, H: 25cm. In good overall condition, with some stains and signs of wear. Can be electrified (upon request).
