A Romanesque period thermometer and weekly calendar or ephemeris in chased and gilded bronze. The ephemeris is a calendar from which a sheet is detached each day. Both pieces feature a neo-Gothic decoration composed of rosettes, arcades, small columns, and polylobed motifs. The ephemeris has seven monogrammed circular plaques.
