ALABASTER SCULPTURE "LA SAMARITAINE", ART DECO PERIOD

Sculpture Art Deco alabaster figure of the Samaritan woman wearing an antique tunic and carrying a jug. Her hair is up in a bun, supported by a diadem. Depicted in contrapposto, one leg bent, the other outstretched, she rests on a square base with cut sides. Signed in hollow on the base:"J. Espasa".
