Part of a Consulat period mahogany and mahogany veneer bedroom set, back from Egypt, comprising: this mahogany and mahogany veneer straight secretary with flat columns veneered with gilt bronze Egyptian heads.
It opens on the front with a drawer, a flap revealing pigeonholes and small drawers, including a secret drawer. The lower part opens with 2 leaves, resting on lion paw feet painted in imitation of antique bronze, cloverleaf locks, top in Granit des Flandres marble.
