Porcelain "tête à tête" tea service bearing the initials of Louis-Philippe crowned in a laurel garland held in place by a bow. It includes a tray, a teapot, two cups with their saucers, a milk jug and a sugar jug. The pieces are decorated in polychrome with two cherubs in clouds and bouquets of flowers on a celestial blue background. Gold-painted ivy friezes enhance this beautiful decoration in the Sèvres taste. The handles and spouts are entirely gilded. This service can also be used as a coffee service. Circa 1850.
