Set of 15 modular tripod candlesticks in chrome-plated metal model S22, and a PVC planter Nagel in the 1970s . It comes with 17 white, yellow, and green candles.
In 1965, Hans Nagel and his architect friend Werner Stoff developed a system for assembling candlesticks. Their research culminated in the Nagel S22 candlestick, the very first modular tripod candlestick with a futuristic design that would later inspire others (BMF, Quist, etc.). The candlesticks can be endlessly combined to create personalized compositions. Nagel produced other models in the early 1980s, but these did not achieve the same commercial success as the S22 and are therefore very rare.
