A set of four giltwood medallion-back armchairs, molded and carved with ribboned moldings and acanthus leaves. The four tapered legs are decorated with fluted edges. The medallion is adorned with a ribbon and laurel leaves. Upholstered in light blue fabric with a gilt foliage design and arrangements of yellow, brown, and blue flowers. Late 19th century. Circa 1890. Dimensions: W: 66cm, D: 55cm, H: 95cm. Minor wear to the gilding. Original fabric.
