The "Arco" side desk, designed in 1963 by Studio BBPR for Olivetti Arredamenti, was a partnership established in Milan in 1932, bringing together the architects Gianlugi Banfi, Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso, Enrico Peressutti, and Ernesto Nathan Rogers. The metal base unscrews and supports a writing surface made of Bakelite, a plastic material used in the first half of the 20th century for its insulating and heat-resistant properties. Marked under the top and legs: "OLIVETTI ARREDAMENTI METALLICI". Numbered 62/182. This side desk, with its vintage style and industrial look, is a classic of 1960s design.
