Large bronze statue with a brown patina, after " Soldier Drawing a Bow ," also known as "Ulysses Holding the Bow of Which Penelope Is to Be the Prize," or "Soldier Martyring Saint Sebastian," created in 1715 by Jacques Bousseau (1681-1740), sculptor to the kings of France and Spain. The original marble version is in the Louvre Museum. This is an early 19th-century cast.
