VP Globe is without doubt Verner Panton's most spectacular lamp. The suspension consists of a transparent acrylic globe containing five white, blue and orange lacquered aluminum reflectors, suspended by metal chains. The entire assembly is visible through transparency. The reflectors, whose positioning has been carefully studied, diffuse the light emitted by the bulb evenly across the room. Colored in blue and orange, they play with the room's warm or cold climate to create a magical atmosphere. The capsule-shaped structure gives the central element a light, floating appearance, a nod to the space age that marked the 60s.
