Coffee table with six small drawers in rosewood veneer by Gianfranco Frattini for the Italian publisher Bernini. The 6-drawer model is rarely presented. In good condition. Gianfranco Frattini (1926-2004) is an Italian designer renowned for his mastery of wood. He participated in the Italian design revival movement that began in the late 1950s. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan and graduated in 1953. He met Gio Ponti with whom he began a first collaboration. He quickly collaborated with Cassina then Knoll, Artemide, Bernini and Fantoni. In 1956 he founded the Association for Industrial Design with several other designers. At the same time, he participated in several events, congresses and exhibitions. His projects have been rewarded with numerous prizes. Design period, Circa: 1960 Dim: L:210cm, D:53cm, H:39cm.
