Online Art Gallery - Antiques & Works of Art

Nidal OUAISS

Co-founder and director of the Atena Gallery

Nidal was born into a family of antique dealers and art experts. Her studies in Art History were a natural choice: her professional path had been chosen long ago.

She has an in-depth knowledge of French Decorative Arts of the 18th and 19th centuries, but a real predilection for the Charles X era.

Frédéric SIOUFI

Co-founder and director of the Atena Gallery

Frédéric's career path was the complete opposite of his wife's: after studying at ESCP, he went to the United States to obtain an MBA, then became a trader on the financial markets between Paris and Tokyo.

After fifteen years of excitement, adrenaline and above all stress, he decided to leave it all behind to embrace the world of Art and its emotions.

Naomi SIOUFI

Marketing, Communication & Events Manager

Naomi is the eldest daughter of Frédéric and Nidal. She joined the family business a few years ago and is in charge of all marketing and communication for the Atena Gallery.

Today, she also takes charge of all event management for the Château de Peyraud.

Zamen EBRAHIMI

Craftsman at the Restoration and Packaging Workshop

Zamen was born in Afghanistan. At a young age, he moved to Iran where he began working as a carpenter and cabinetmaker. He worked for 12 years as a workshop manager, crafting gondolas, custom-made stands for various organizations and events, as well as furniture for private clients.

He arrived in France in November 2018 and joined the restoration team at Atena. He is in charge of cabinetmaking and the restoration of antique furniture, as well as preparing wooden crates for heavy and fragile objects.

Herbert COLLADO

Head of the Catering and Packaging Workshop

Herbert has a background in civil engineering. After several years designing public infrastructure, he worked as a cabinetmaker. He left his native Philippines to settle in France, and in 2016, he became head of the restoration and packaging workshop at Atena.

Today, he is able to restore the majority of the gallery's objects: from cabinetmaking to gilding, including joinery, polishing bronzes, varnishing wood, and even electrifying lighting fixtures.
