This rural landscape with trees, hills, and travelers was painted in the early 19th century by a follower of Jan Wijnants, a 17th-century Dutch painter. Oil on panel. Dutch School, early 19th century. Original carved and gilded wooden frame, richly decorated with acanthus leaves and floral motifs. Panel dimensions (without frame): H: 28cm, W: 35cm. Overall dimensions (with frame): H: 42cm, W: 50cm, D: 7cm. 19th century, circa 1800. Dimensions: W: 50cm, D: 7cm, H: 42cm. In good condition with minor wear to the wood.
