Tulip dining table designed by Eero Saarinen and produced by Knoll International. It features a circular top in white arabescato marble with light gray veining. It rests on a wide, circular base in beige lacquered metal. The table is accompanied by a set of five chairs from the Tulip collection by Eero Saarinen for Knoll International. The beige shell of the chair is made of molded fiberglass reinforced with polyester. The seat swivels and is upholstered with a removable cushion of sand-colored wool fabric. The base is also made of beige lacquered metal. Eero Saarinen was an American designer of Finnish origin, trained as a sculptor and architect. He launched an entire Tulip furniture collection for Knoll (tables, chairs, armchairs, stools, etc.). All these pieces are distinguished by their single pedestal base, thus avoiding a "miserable clutter of legs" in a home. Dimensions: Table: Diameter: 137cm, Height: 72cm. Dimensions: Chairs: W: 55cm, D: 48cm, H: 79cm. Design period, Circa: 1990
