A pair of large porcelain vases in the famille rose , mounted as lamps . They are decorated with bouquets of flowers in shades of pink on a white ground. The mounts are of exquisite chased and gilt bronze, richly decorated with rose branches and four candle arms. Two additional roses in relief flank the body of the vase. Each lamp rests on a small, square base with curved sides. Probably by Samson in the Chinese .

Condition report : Both lamps are in very good condition, with one leaf having a small chip in the enamel. They have been electrified and are in working order.
