The "Fun" collection was designed in the 1960s by Verner Panton (1926-1998), a leading figure in contemporary Danish and international design. In creating this model, he innovated with a vibrant pop design, using new light-reflecting materials such as mother-of-pearl and metal, and designing a fluid light fixture that, under the effect of the heat emitted by the bulb and its thermal radiation, gently sways.
