VP Globe is undoubtedly Verner Panton's most spectacular lamp. The pendant consists of a transparent acrylic globe containing five white, blue, and orange lacquered aluminum reflectors, suspended by metal chains. The entire structure is visible through the transparent glass. The reflectors, whose positioning was meticulously studied, diffuse the light emitted by the bulb evenly throughout the room. Colored blue and orange, they interact with the room's warm or cool climate to create a magical atmosphere. The capsule-shaped structure gives the central element a floating and light appearance, a nod to the space age of the 1960s. The black textile cable and chrome ceiling rose add a modernist finish to this design, produced by VerPan. Epoque Design, Circa: 2009. Dimensions: W: 40cm, D: 40cm, H: 40cm.
