A Louis XVI style gilt and patinated bronze clock. The white enamel dial, painted with polychrome garlands and flanked by laurel branches, is surmounted by a cherub in the clouds and rests on an elephant. The rectangular gilt bronze base is decorated with a frieze of interlacing patterns and acanthus leaves. Napoleon III period, circa 1880. Dimensions: W: 14.5 cm, D: 7.5 cm, H: 24.5 cm.
