A beautiful soft-paste porcelain potpourri dish in the Sèvres style , mounted in gilt bronze, decorated in polychrome with bouquets of flowers on a white and blue ground, highlighted in gold with scrolls, flowering branches, and bouquets of roses. The mount features an openwork collar, adorned with interlacing patterns, supporting three lion heads holding movable rings in their mouths. These are linked by festooned drapery. The potpourri dish is surmounted by a gilt bronze pine cone forming the finial. Apocryphal Sèvres mark. Napoleon III period, circa 1850. Dimensions: W: 17cm, D: 17cm, H: 22.5cm.
