A rosewood veneer liquor cabinet that belonged to Louis-Philippe, opening from the top with a gilt bronze keyhole escutcheon featuring three crowned fleurs-de-lis, representing the king's coat of arms. The initials "LP" for Louis-Philippe are engraved on the lid. Inside, there is a removable red paper basket resting on two feet and a bolster containing twelve small, diamond-cut glasses. Beneath the basket is a compartment. Four crystal decanters with their hand-cut stoppers are placed in separate compartments at the four corners of the cabinet. Louis-Philippe period, circa 1840. Dimensions: W: 30cm, D: 21cm, H: 24.5cm. Original glasses and decanters in very good condition. Very fine quality crystal. Minor peeling of the original paper lining.
