Terra cotta sculpture depicting a hunting allegory with two cherubs on a roasting terte with a hunting dog at their feet, one carrying a game animal and the other a hunting horn. Signed LE BRUN on the back.
19th-century French work in the 18th-century style after André Jean Lebrun, a sculptor born in Paris in 1737 and who died in Vilnius in 1811. A pupil of Pigalle, he spent time at the Villa Medici in Rome, then worked at the court of Poland and Saint Petersburg.
