Terracotta sculpture depicting an allegory of the hunt with two cherubs on a rocky mound, with a hunting dog at their feet; one carries game and the other a hunting horn. Bears the signature LE BRUN on the back.
French work from the 19th century in the style of the 18th century after André Jean Lebrun, a sculptor born in 1737 in Paris and died in Vilnius in 1811. A student of Pigalle, he stayed at the Villa Medici in Rome, then he worked at the court of Poland and Saint Petersburg.
