A living room set in the "Egyptian Revival" style, consisting of a sofa, two chairs, two armchairs and a pedestal table with a mahogany frame and decoration of chiseled and gilded bronzes.
The sofa and the pair of armchairs
The upper rail of the backrest is adorned with rosettes and foliage in gilt bronze, arranged in a frieze. The armrest brackets are decorated with sphinxes , and the seat rail is enlivened by a frieze of stylized oak leaves.

Each piece of furniture rests on saber-shaped rear legs and straight front legs, ending in claws and foliage.
Chairs with gondola backs

The two gondola chairs are adorned with finely chiseled and gilded bronze sphinxes and rest on saber legs. The seats and backs are upholstered in beige striped fabric.
The pedestal table
The pedestal table, with Egyptian-inspired motifs , rests on a central pedestal and a tripod base. The base is surmounted by three blackened wooden columns, adorned with Corinthian capitals and topped by chiseled and gilded bronze sphinxes.

The rim and the edge of the tabletop are decorated with festoons, rosettes, and stylized foliage arranged in a frieze. The wood marquetry tabletop is decorated with floral motifs.
The exquisitely fine carving and state of preservation of this salon make it an exceptional set.
