A beautiful Louis-Philippe period clock in patinated and gilt bronze depicting a horse tethered to a stake fixed to a bed of stones, leaves, and flowers. The circular dial with Roman numerals is flanked by palmettes. The rectangular base, adorned with stylized scrolls and palmettes, rests on four feet with stylized shell motifs.
