BRONZE SCULPTURE "YOUNG ARCHER" BY ANTOINE BOFILL (1875-1921)

A bronze sculpture with a nuanced brown patina depicting a young boy shooting a bow and arrow. It rests on a small terrace and a stepped circular base. Signed on the terrace: "Bofill". Foundry mark: "Bronze garantie" (Guaranteed Bronze). Stamped: "A1821". Good condition. Antoine Bofill (1875-1921) was a sculptor of Spanish origin. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Barcelona before exhibiting at the Paris Salon, where he received an honorable mention in 1902.
