A bronze sculpture with a nuanced brown patina depicting a young boy shooting a bow and arrow. It rests on a small terrace and a stepped circular base. Signed on the terrace: "Bofill". Foundry mark: "Bronze garantie" (Guaranteed Bronze). Stamped: "A1821". Good condition. Antoine Bofill (1875-1921) was a sculptor of Spanish origin. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Barcelona before exhibiting at the Paris Salon, where he received an honorable mention in 1902. He was active at the end of the 19th century and in the first half of the 20th century. Period: Late 19th century, Circa: 1900. Dimensions: W: 20cm, D: 12cm, H: 40.5cm.
