Bronze sculpture with brown patina depicting a draped woman, holding on her head an empty jar decorated with zig-zag patterns and arabesques, walking towards the fountain.
Edouard DROUOT 's "Return of the Fountain (Water Carrier)" . The pure forms of this slender body, its impassive face with downcast eyes, its posture with the left arm firmly placed on its hip, lend monumentality to this orientalist figure signed "E. DROUOT".
