Aleppo Breche marble top, encircled by a finely chased and gilded bronze gallery. Fluted uprights terminating in ormolu sabots, embellished with carved garlands. Gilt bronze handles and escutcheons, with foliage motifs and ornaments typical of the Louis XVI style. Cylindrical flap, revealing a richly appointed interior with several small precious-wood drawers and a sheathed top. Three-drawer belt, including a larger central drawer, flanked by two side drawers.
