Large cylinder desk in mahogany and flamed mahogany veneer in the Empire style. This secretary with semi-cylindrical flap has eight drawers with palmette keys on the front: five on the belt and three on an upper tier, itself topped with a green marble top. The flap is flanked by rich ormolu ornaments decorated with winged victories, palms, a frieze of water leaves, and a chariot led by a love in the front. Opening with two pulls in ormolu swan necks, the cylinder reveals a sliding tray covered with leather and surrounded by a frieze of gilded palmettes, a niche and three drawers with a pull in fleurons. The set rests on four uprights in braced columns.
