A very large clock, halfway between a pyramid and an obelisk, in patinated and gilt bronze, resting on four antique-style lions and a base veneered in griotte red marble. It is decorated in bas-relief with foliate garlands and trophies of arms, surmounted by a figure of Fame. The openwork gilt bronze dial is decorated with palmettes and Roman numerals. The metal leaf suspension has been replaced.
Condition report: In very good original condition, with wear to the Roman numerals on the dial, chips and nicks to the marble
