Opaline glass box in the shape of a soap bubble, with a hinged lid cut in a checkerboard pattern, containing four small gadrooned bottles with glass stoppers and gilt metal lids. A finely chiseled funnel in the center allows the bottles to be filled with perfume.
The gilt bronze mount, chased with stars and flower buds, rests on four feet in the form of winged lion's paws. It is embellished on the sides with scallop shell handles and a lock decorated with scrolling foliage.
Good overall condition. Some minor chips on the necks of the bottles and their glass stoppers. Lids are replacements for all four containers.
