A cut crystal sugar bowl or bonbonnière with twisted ribs, resting on a gilt bronze foot, finely chased with floral crosshatching. The square base, in crystal and gilt bronze, is decorated with straight ribs and bordered with acanthus leaves. The lid is surmounted by a winged putto holding a bowl, forming the finial.
