Cylindrical glazed ceramic vase with incised decoration of animals and geometric motifs in black on an ochre background. Signed in relief under the base: "J. Blin". Very good condition. Jacques Blin (1920-1995) was a French ceramist active in the second half of the 20th century. His style is characterized by illustrations of birds, animals, and scenes of daily life. A passionate advocate for his art, he became vice-president of the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva. He also served as president of the French Chamber of Ceramists and Art Workshops for twenty years. 20th century, circa 1950. Dimensions: L: 10cm, W: 10cm, H: 17.5cm.
